After securing a decisive sweep over the New York Liberty in the WNBA Championship semifinals at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, Atlanta Dream forward Angel Reese hosted an extravagant celebration for her teammates. The 24-year-old star, who joined the Dream in April and became the fastest player in league history to reach 1,000 career rebounds in June, treated the team to a lavish dinner at Manhattan’s Sei Less restaurant.
The private event featured an opulent spread of dishes like king crab legs, lobster, and oxtail spring rolls, with Reese covering the entire bill—including a generous tip for the staff. The festivities extended well past midnight, as the players danced and sang until 3:30 a.m., reveling in the team’s historic run to the Finals.
With the Dream now facing the Golden State Valkyries in the championship series beginning October 17 in San Francisco, Reese’s celebration underscored the team’s momentum heading into the title showdown.
