WNBA makes A’ja Wilson discipline decision after wild fan altercation

Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson will escape additional punishment from the WNBA following a heated exchange with a spectator during Tuesday's postseason matchup. Officials reviewed the incident and confirmed that the forward remained within the legal playing boundary while addressing the individual late in the fourth quarter.

Wilson picked up a technical foul during the contest, which ended in a 99-89 victory for the Indiana Fever, leveling the playoff series at one game apiece. League management factored in the heightened stakes of the postseason while deciding against supplementary penalties, though officials plan to emphasize player safety moving forward.

Wilson will be permitted to take the floor for the decisive third game scheduled in Las Vegas on Thursday night.
