Takeaways from College Football Week 5: Miami looks elite, Alabama’s offense rolls

Week 5 of college football brought major shifts as Miami continues its undefeated run without facing a true challenger yet. Meanwhile, Alabama matched its 2018 feat by eclipsing 45 points in its first five contests under Kalen DeBoer, powered by quarterback Keelon Russell.

Coaching hot seats saw dramatic changes as Mike Norvell and Florida State routed Virginia 38-7, and Luke Fickell guided Wisconsin past Michigan State 31-3. Eli Drinkwitz and Missouri also secured a statement victory to silence doubters regarding their national ranking.
