Wisconsin football showing life in stacked Big Ten

The Wisconsin Badgers secured a notable road upset over the thirteenth-ranked Penn State squad, overcoming a seventeen-point deficit at halftime to triumph with twenty-four unanswered points in the second half. This victory marks the program's first triumph against a ranked opponent on the road this season and breaks a long winless drought at the stadium dating back to 2003.

Head coach Luke Fickell entered the matchup under heavy pressure following a difficult prior season and an aggressive roster overhaul through thirty-three transfer portal additions, seventeen of which bolstered the offensive unit. Preceding this breakthrough, the squad opened their campaign with a competitive early test against Notre Dame, keeping the score close at halftime before ultimately moving to a three and one record.
