USC will be missing wide receiver Corey Simms for the rest of the 2026 football season after he suffered a season-ending injury, according to reporting by Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports. Simms had recently carved out a role within the passing rotation and gained confidence while teammate Trent Mosley recovered from his own injury.
Although Simms provided a reliable option for quarterback Jayden Maiava, his absence leaves a void in the offensive lineup.
Despite losing Simms, the Trojans possess considerable depth at the wide receiver position. Mosley is expected to return to the field in October for upcoming matchups against Penn State and Wisconsin.
Additionally, the team can rely on several other pass catchers, including Kayden Dixon-Wyatt, Terrell Anderson, Tanook Hines, and Boobie Feaster, to sustain the offensive output as the year progresses.
