West Indies suffer major blow. Star batter ruled out of 2nd ODI due to injury

West Indies opener Justin Greaves will miss the upcoming second fixture against India following a calf problem sustained during his century knock in the series opener. Having battled discomfort in his right leg through much of his 108-ball stay in Thiruvananthapuram, the visiting batsman has officially been sidelined for the next contest in Guwahati.

Kuldeep Yadav ultimately dismissed the centurion as part of a four-wicket haul that restricted the tourists to 295 for seven. India subsequently secured a comfortable chase inside forty-two overs, propelled by a substantial partnership between Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli.
