We asked oddsmakers to rank the 74 most important NBA players against the spread: Nikola Jokić, Wemby top the list

A survey of five oddsmakers has identified the NBA stars with the most significant impact on point spreads. Nikola Jokic retains the top spot for the third consecutive year, remaining the only player valued at over five points against the spread.

Victor Wembanyama follows closely in second place, with experts noting that while Wembanyama might hold more individual value on a neutral roster, the Nuggets suffer a more severe decline when Jokic is sidelined. Rounding out the top five are Luka Doncic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Meanwhile, LeBron James has reached his lowest ranking in this study to date, partly due to his age and the increased depth of his current team's roster.
