Brooks Koepka wrapped up his competitive year in Scotland by draining a lengthy putt for an eagle on the final hole at the historic St. Andrews layout.
His closing round of 66 at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship secured a share of sixth place at 16-under overall, placing him four strokes behind the tournament winner Adrian Meronk. Earlier in the year, the major champion had expressed strong frustration regarding his performance on the PGA Tour, where physical struggles in his arm and hand disrupted his summer schedule and contributed to missing the FedEx Cup Playoffs.
Even though he has finished his schedule for the year, his past victory at the 2023 PGA Championship ensures his tour exemption remains secure through 2028 following his reinstatement.
