Ja'Marr Chase injury update as Bengals star is pulled down by facemask

During the second quarter of a Week 4 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase suffered an injury following a reception. After securing a short pass from quarterback Joe Burrow, the star offensive player was forcefully brought to the turf via a facemask tackle by an opposing defender.

Chase stayed on the turf before receiving initial medical evaluation on the playing surface and subsequently walking toward the sideline medical tent. Team officials did not immediately release any further details regarding whether he would return to action for the remainder of the Sunday contest.
