Valverde’s stoppage-time strike completes Real Madrid comeback at AEK for 12 points from 12

Real Madrid maintained their perfect Champions League record by overcoming AEK Athens 3-2 in a dramatic away fixture. Federico Valverde secured the victory with a stoppage-time goal after entering the match as a substitute, despite recent concerns regarding a hamstring injury.

Earlier, Jude Bellingham leveled the score following Aboubakary Koita's opener, and Kylian Mbappe responded quickly after Stavros Pilios had put the hosts back in front. Following the final whistle, Koita was dismissed for persistent dissent.

This fourth consecutive European win moves Jose Mourinho's squad past their initial qualification goal of 12 points. The team now prepares for a domestic league match at Mestalla, where Vinicius Junior will remain sidelined due to a four-game suspension.
