Tyson Bagent is expected to start for the Bears on Sunday vs. Jets

Despite a victorious performance by Case Keenum against Philadelphia earlier in the week, Chicago plans to send out Tyson Bagent as the quarterback for Sunday's matchup with the Jets. Head coach Ben Johnson kept his plans under wraps, but Bagent handled starting reps during mid-week practices following his clearance from concussion protocols.

Bagent currently sits behind primary starter Caleb Williams on the depth chart. Having entered the league as an undrafted product out of Shepherd, Bagent logged four starts during his rookie campaign in 2023 and recently saw action in relief of Williams during a Week 2 defeat against Minnesota.
