Time to grade HC Brian Schottenheimer’s time in Dallas so far

Following a brutal loss to the Baltimore Ravens, fans and analysts are reevaluating Brian Schottenheimer's tenure leading the team. The coach previously earned goodwill for bringing in staff like Christian Parker and trying to build a distinct culture, especially after his offense was held back by a poor defense during a difficult first year on the job.

However, struggles have surfaced this season, starting with a physically overmatched opening performance against the New York Giants and a narrow escape against the Washington Commanders before Jayden Daniels exited due to injury. As confidence polls open to gauge supporter sentiment, questions are mounting regarding the current direction of the coaching staff.
