The time has come for USC to pony up and pay Lincoln Riley's buyout after bottom falls out against Wisconsin

USC suffered a disappointing 24-7 defeat against Wisconsin on Saturday, struggling significantly on the offensive side of the ball. The Trojans failed to generate any momentum, finishing with negative 17 rushing yards despite having an open date to prepare for the matchup.

Quarterback Jayden Maiva completed 31 of 50 passes for 258 yards, but the team managed only one touchdown drive throughout the contest. With a difficult schedule ahead including games against Ohio State, Indiana, and UCLA, the program faces mounting pressure regarding the future of head coach Lincoln Riley.

While his contract buyout is reportedly valued at approximately 70 million dollars, the team's struggles against top-25 opponents have raised questions about whether the university will consider a change.
