Harmanpreet Kaur, the former India women's captain, struck her eighth One‑Day International hundred in the second ODI against Zimbabwe at the BCA Stadium in Kotambi, Vadodara, on October 25. The milestone came from a sweeping two‑run shot off Beloved Biza and made her the fourth‑oldest player ever to score a WODI century at 37 years and 231 days, behind Barb Bevege, Janette Brittin and Daleen Terblanche.
The innings also pushed Kaur past Mithali Raj, moving her to second on India's all‑time WODI century list with eight scores, while Smriti Mandhana remains the leader with 14. Kaur chose not to celebrate the hundred on the field, and her teammates applauded the achievement.
Her record places her among the oldest Indian ODI centurions, trailing only Rohit Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar and Virat Kohli.
