The Aces know what it takes to win. The Fever are trying to learn.

The defending champion Las Vegas Aces enter the postseason as the third seed, preparing to clash with the sixth-seeded Indiana Fever in a first-round series starting late September. Led by four-time MVP A'ja Wilson, the titleholders are pursuing a fourth consecutive championship under head coach Becky Hammon, boasting a strong playoff pedigree alongside occasional consistency struggles.

Meanwhile, the challenging Indiana squad relies on a prominent scoring trio featuring Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell, and Aliyah Boston. Although the Fever claimed two victories during their regular-season series, the upcoming postseason matchup presents a fresh test as both teams resume their rivalry following previous playoff meetings.
