The PGA Tour Champions has concluded its regular season, setting the stage for the 2026 Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs, a three-tournament postseason spanning four weeks. The field begins with 72 golfers, narrowing to 54 after the first event before the final 36 compete at Phoenix Country Club from November 12–15 for the championship—and a guaranteed 2027 tour card.
Stewart Cink leads the points race with five wins this season, while Zach Johnson tops the circuit with six victories. Michael Block, a Malbon-sponsored club professional, secured a spot in the playoffs after a strong year on sponsor invitations, entering the postseason ranked 42nd.
Only the top 36 will advance to the final, where the stakes include both prestige and automatic tour eligibility for 2027. Meanwhile, Mathew Goggin’s late surge—climbing five spots from 74th—earned him a playoff berth, while Heath Slocum, Tom Pernice Jr., Fred Couples, Kirk Triplett, and Jeff Maggert fell just short of qualifying.
