The thirteenth-ranked Tennessee Volunteers face a significant roster challenge heading into their conference opener against the top-ranked Texas Longhorns. Running back Javin Gordon will miss the matchup due to a leg injury, while defensive lineman Nathan Robinson remains a game-time decision for the squad.

This roster update comes directly from the official SEC student-athlete availability report, which requires schools to disclose player participation statuses prior to conference contests. The upcoming clash between these two undefeated teams is scheduled to air on ABC from Neyland Stadium.
