Suzuki makes string of saves before conceding own goal in draw with Fulham

Aston Villa and Fulham played to a 1-1 draw after a late mistake by goalkeeper Zion Suzuki. Villa missed a chance to take an early lead when John McGinn sent a penalty kick against the crossbar following a handball decision against Sander Berge.

Nicolas Jackson later put the hosts ahead by capitalizing on a defensive error by Timothy Castagne to score his eighth goal in ten appearances. Despite several impressive saves throughout the match, including efforts against Oscar Bobb, Victor Lindelof, Gonzalo Garcia, and Alex Iwobi, Suzuki ultimately fumbled an Iwobi corner kick into his own net to hand Fulham the equalizer.
