Verbruggen spreads belief as impressive Brighton beat Man City

Brighton secured a narrow 1-0 victory against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, marking a significant turnaround after their recent Carabao Cup exit. Goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen was instrumental in the win, recording seven saves and helping his side maintain a clean sheet despite facing 21 shots on target from the hosts.

Fabian Hurzeler praised his squad's mindset and the confidence Verbruggen provided throughout the match. While Manchester City dominated in terms of expected goals, they struggled to convert their opportunities, leaving Enzo Maresca to address the team's lack of clinical finishing.
