Surrey sign England all-rounder Freya Kemp on multi-year deal

Surrey have secured the services of England international Freya Kemp on a multi-year contract, with the all-rounder scheduled to join the squad for the 2027 season. The 21-year-old previously played domestic cricket for Hampshire across two seasons and brings extensive experience from her 49 international appearances.

Emma Calvert, the director of women's cricket at the club, praised the incoming player's character and professional background. During her career, Kemp has also featured for domestic and franchise sides including the Southern Vipers, Sussex, Southern Brave, Welsh Fire, and the Perth Scorchers in Australia.
