Bihar Cricket Association head Harsh Vardhan shared words of praise for young batting talent Vaibhav Sooryavanshi following the squad's triumph at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. India secured the gold medal in the men's cricket competition by defeating Pakistan in the title clash, defending a target of 211 runs after posting six wickets while restricting the opposition to 192 for six.
Opening the batting for the winning side, the fifteen-year-old contributor added 15 runs from nine deliveries before falling to a catch. Association secretary Ziaul Arfin also offered praise for the youngster, marking the milestone as a proud moment for the region's cricketing community.
