Spike Lee held back in wild fan altercation before Yankees-Red Sox Game 2

Spike Lee found himself involved in a heated pregame altercation prior to Game 2 of the wild-card series between the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox. The well-known filmmaker had arrived at the Legends Suite dining area early in the evening, taking photographs and greeting fans, before a confrontation erupted after an individual began filming him and shouting offensive remarks about Palestine.

Security staff and personnel quickly intervened to restrain an agitated Lee and escorted the disruptive spectator off the premises.
