Season may be over for Padres, but it’s just beginning for some prospects

While the San Diego Padres have concluded their major league campaign, focus shifts to the organization's developing talent. Prospects are set to participate in the 2026 Arizona Fall League, providing a source of baseball activity unaffected by potential major league labor disputes.

Elsewhere, the Cleveland Guardians secured a spot in the ALCS by defeating the Chicago White Sox. Additionally, the Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers are preparing for a pitching duel in the opening game of their series.
