Mets Morning News: Guardians move on

The Cleveland postseason run continues following a decisive fifth-game victory over the Chicago White Sox, as Gavin Williams matched a franchise single-game strikeout record by fanning twelve batters and flirting with a no-hitter at Progressive Field. With that triumph secured, the team advances to challenge the Tampa Bay Rays in the American League Championship Series.

Meanwhile, across the league, the Milwaukee Brewers confirmed that Jacob Misiorowski will take the mound as their opening starter for the upcoming NLCS clash against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
