NLCS notes: Tarik Skubal, Shohei Ohtani, Max Muncy

The Dodgers are preparing to face the Brewers in the 2026 National League Championship Series following a brief break. Tarik Skubal, who dominated in his previous outing against Atlanta by allowing only one run across six innings, will start the opening game against Jacob Misiorowski.

Meanwhile, manager Dave Roberts is expressing faith that Shohei Ohtani will regain his offensive form after the slugger utilized the downtime for extra batting practice. In a lighter development, Max Muncy has chosen to stay at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee despite its reputation for being haunted, stating he is unbothered by the prospect of paranormal visitors.
