Seahawks sign former UFL MVP quarterback following Sam Darnold injury

Seattle has added Adrian Martinez to their practice squad following a physical setback for their starting signal-caller. Sam Darnold will be sidelined for the upcoming matchup against Arizona due to issues with his ribs and a quad muscle sustained during the team's recent defeat to Chicago.

Head coach Mike Macdonald indicated that while Darnold is considered week-to-week, he will not be moved to injured reserve. Drew Lock is slated to take over starting duties for the weekend contest.
