S. Carolina's Dylan Stewart takes nasty hit, briefly leaves game vs. Oklahoma

South Carolina defensive standout Dylan Stewart briefly exited Saturday's contest against Oklahoma during the second quarter. The edge rusher sustained a midsection injury after colliding with Sooners offensive lineman Noah Best.

Despite the impact, Stewart was cleared to return and participated in the second half of the game. South Carolina held a 28-10 lead at halftime, with Stewart contributing a half tackle for loss before his temporary departure.

The highly-touted prospect, who has been named to multiple preseason award watchlists, has recorded two sacks and three tackles for loss throughout the current season.
