Denver’s safety Talanoa Hufanga missed Sunday’s victory over the Los Angeles Chargers and will remain sidelined beyond Week 6 due to an ankle problem. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports the injury should keep him out for two to three weeks, and he was listed as a non‑participant in practice on Monday and Tuesday, positioning him to be ruled out for Thursday’s matchup with Seattle.
Hufanga has recorded 23 tackles, two interceptions (including a pick‑six), a sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery this season. The Broncos’ remaining safeties—Brandon Jones, Devon Key, JL Skinner and Tycen Anderson—will need to fill the void while he recovers.
