Following a difficult weekend outcome on the gridiron, the Washington football program hosted a pair of notable prospects from the recruiting class of 2028. Four-star interior offensive lineman Josiah Eney, hailing from Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Maryland, made the trip to Montlake to evaluate the facilities.
Recognized as the tenth-best interior lineman in composite evaluations, Eney previously secured the program's inaugural scholarship offer and maintains familial connections to the school, alongside competing interest from Penn State, Nebraska, and Ohio State.
Simultaneously, three-star linebacker Tylan Henderson traveled to campus from Pflugerville Weiss High School in Texas. Ranked sixteenth nationally at his position and sharing a high school with current pledge Tre Moore, Henderson brought an impressive junior stat line featuring one hundred thirteen total tackles, twenty tackles for loss, and two and a half sacks.
The Texas defender evaluates a massive list of prospective opportunities that includes Auburn, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas A&M, and USC.
