Mumbai clinched a dominant innings and 97-run victory against Himachal Pradesh during their Group D Ranji Trophy encounter, picking up their second consecutive bonus-point win. Mohit Avasthi spearheaded the bowling attack with figures of five for 44, while Shams Mulani provided crucial support to dismantle the opposition.

Himachal Pradesh put up strong resistance on the final day through fighting half-centuries from captain Pukhraj Mann and Vaibhav Kalta, but the visitors ultimately bowled the home side out for 291 in the second session.
