Dan Quinn tells Jayden Daniels to "take your shot" even then there's a penalty flag on the field

Washington coach Dan Quinn defended his rookie quarterback following a controversial fourth-down sequence on Monday Night Football. Quinn instructed Jayden Daniels to aggressively attack downfield even upon noticing a penalty flag on the field, noting that a penalty does not erase the necessity of achieving a first down or guarantee the flag will stand.

Daniels admitted after the contest that he needs to execute better in those high-pressure moments regardless of officiating flags.
