Ranji Trophy 2026-27: Dubey rewrites Vidarbha record books with nine-wicket haul against MP

Harsh Dubey delivered a historic performance for Vidarbha during their Ranji Trophy Elite Group A match against Madhya Pradesh, claiming nine wickets for 53 runs. His spell at the VCA Jamtha Stadium surpassed the long-standing record set by Arun Ogiral in 1967.

Madhya Pradesh struggled throughout the opening day, finishing their first innings at 209 before managing to remove four Vidarbha batters before stumps. Key dismissals for Dubey included Rajat Patidar and Saransh Jain, while Atharva Mahajan provided some resistance for the visitors by scoring a maiden First-Class half-century.
