Ranji Trophy 2026/27: Andre Siddarth steers nervy chase to give Tamil Nadu second win

Tamil Nadu secured their second consecutive victory in the Ranji Trophy Elite Group D by successfully chasing a target of 128 against Railways. Despite a challenging pitch at the MAC Stadium, Andre Siddarth anchored the innings with an unbeaten 56 to guide the hosts to a five-wicket win.

The chase faced early turbulence as the team slipped to 91 for five, but Siddarth and Vimal Khumar managed to stabilize the effort and cross the finish line. Earlier in the day, the Tamil Nadu bowling attack wrapped up the Railways second innings for 108, with Sai Kishore leading the charge by claiming four wickets.
