QB Jake Haener returns to the Giants' practice squad
The Giants have brought Jake Haener back to their practice squad following his release from the primary roster earlier this week. To fill the vacancy on the 53-man roster, the organization added wide receiver Jalin Hyatt.
Jameis Winston and J.J. McCarthy continue to serve as the team's primary signal-callers.
During his limited appearances this year, Hyatt participated in four offensive plays and six special teams snaps during a matchup against the Texans. Additionally, the franchise promoted running back Phil Mafah and linebacker Dawuane Smoot from the practice squad for upcoming availability.
