Phillip Island Sprint Race: New 2026 MotoGP World Championship standings

Marc Marquez has moved to the top of the 2026 MotoGP standings after winning the Sprint race at Phillip Island. His title rival Jorge Martin suffered a crash during the event, resulting in a fractured right radius and a suspected fractured right ulna that will keep him out of Sunday's grand prix.

Marco Bezzecchi currently sits third in the standings, trailing the leader by 50 points. With Alex Marquez now mathematically eliminated from the championship hunt, only seven riders remain in contention for the title with 173 points still available.

Additionally, Ai Ogura has been penalized for tyre pressure violations, and Raul Fernandez is sidelined for the upcoming race due to a finger injury.
