Patriots up-to-date depth chart: Who is on the roster right now?

The New England Patriots are reshuffling their 53-man squad, placing wide receiver A.J. Brown on injured reserve, which will sideline him for a minimum of four contests.

With head coach Mike Vrabel trusting the receiver room and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels turning to an all-hands strategy, wideouts DeMario Douglas and Kyle Williams are poised to take on expanded responsibilities. This shift in the aerial attack also comes as quarterback Drake Maye displayed diminished velocity on his passes during a Wednesday evening matchup in Seattle.

To shore up the defensive trenches, New England is bringing in former Buffalo Bills defensive tackle DaQuan Jones on a reported one-year, $6 million pact. The 320-pound veteran joins an interior group currently featuring starter Cory Durden after the team went without drafting or signing an outside replacement for Khyiris Tonga over the offseason.

During the prior campaign with Buffalo, Jones amassed 22 stops, three sacks, 21 pressures on opposing passers, one interception, and a forced fumble.
