The New England Patriots have reactivated wide receiver A.J. Brown from injured reserve in time for Sunday’s home matchup against the New York Jets.
Brown, who suffered an ankle injury during the team’s Week 1 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, missed his first three games of the season and will make his Patriots debut in front of a home crowd. Before his injury, he recorded three receptions for 26 yards in limited action.
Alongside Brown’s return, the Patriots promoted defensive back Elliott Davison and running back Hassan Haskins to the active roster from the practice squad. The team’s decision not to add offensive line reinforcements suggests confidence in left tackle Will Campbell, who was listed as questionable with a knee injury for Sunday’s game.
