Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is set to return for Week 6 after missing the last three games due to a Grade 2 hamstring injury that sidelined him in a recent contest. The team activated Williams for Sunday’s road game against the Atlanta Falcons, with backup quarterbacks Case Keenum and Tyson Bagent handling starts in his absence.
During those three games, the Bears posted a 2-1 record, maintaining a 3-2 overall start to the season. Williams, who has shown flashes of potential this year, has thrown for 407 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception while completing 65.5% of his passes in two starts.
He also contributed 107 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns, including a standout Week 1 performance where he led the Bears to a 59-point victory over the Carolina Panthers. Last season, Williams threw for 3,942 yards, 27 touchdowns, and seven interceptions, with a 90.1 passer rating and 58.1% completion rate, while adding 388 rushing yards and three rushing scores.
