Packers’ run game remains abysmal despite win

Despite securing a victory against the Carolina Panthers, the Green Bay Packers struggled significantly on the ground. The team managed only 66 net rushing yards across 26 attempts, with running backs contributing a meager 48 yards on 25 carries.

Jordan Love led the offense effectively through the air, completing 30 of 41 passes for 288 yards and three touchdowns, though he did throw one interception. The defense supported the win by recording six sacks and stopping the Panthers on several fourth-down attempts.

Special teams faced criticism due to a missed extra point by Trey Smack and a fumble by Coleman Owen on the opening kickoff. Christian Watson briefly left the contest for hospital evaluation but returned to secure a critical third-down reception.
