Lando Norris secured a commanding victory at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix after taking advantage of critical errors by rivals Kimi Antonelli and George Russell. Starting from pole, Norris initially dropped back during wet conditions before an early switch to dry tyres allowed him to hunt down Antonelli, who subsequently spun out of the lead at the opening corner.
Despite late rain showers requiring a return to wet tyres, Norris controlled the remainder of the race to claim his first win since late August. Max Verstappen put in an exceptional recovery drive, charging from 21st on the starting grid to finish second.
Meanwhile, Antonelli and Russell crossed the line in fourth and fifth places respectively, securing the constructors championship for Mercedes just a week after Antonelli secured the drivers crown. Additional battles saw Hadjar struggle with consistency before yielding position to Verstappen following team instructions.
