Norris completes first full test in McLaren’s Le Mans Hypercar

Current Formula 1 world champion Lando Norris logged his inaugural extensive trial in the McLaren MCL-HY Le Mans Hypercar on Monday at Portimao. The British driver headed into Portugal for the single-day program immediately after competing in the Spanish Grand Prix at the recently introduced Madring track.

His bid for a race win over the weekend had been derailed by an unfortunate Virtual Safety Car period. Shifting his focus to the endurance prototype, Norris accumulated 38 circuits during the running.
