NLCS Game 1, Dodgers vs. Brewers chat and discussion: October 11

The National League Championship Series opens tonight as the Los Angeles Dodgers face off against the Milwaukee Brewers in Game 1, a matchup featuring two of MLB’s most dominant teams from the 2026 season. Both squads secured over 100 regular-season wins, with the Brewers topping the league at 103 victories—a record-setting campaign that sets the stage for a high-stakes postseason showdown.

The Dodgers, meanwhile, advanced past the Atlanta Braves in the NLDS for the second straight year, while the Brewers dispatched the San Diego Padres with relative ease. Former Braves players Freddie Freeman (now with the Dodgers) and William Contreras (leading the Brewers’ catching corps) add an extra layer of intrigue, as their teams clash in a series likely to draw strong reactions from Braves fans still smarting from their playoff exit.

The game tips off at 8 PM Eastern on FOX, with both teams poised to battle for a spot in the World Series.
