NFL hot-seat rankings: Aaron Glenn feels the heat, Shane Steichen running out of time

As the NFL regular season approaches its halfway checkpoint, the looming threat of pink slips is casting a shadow over several team leaders. Ten franchise openings from the previous offseason have set a tense tone, placing immense pressure on struggling leadership groups entering Week 8.

In Philadelphia, leadership status is under heavy scrutiny following a decisive twenty-one to thirty-eight defeat against Dallas during Monday night action. Despite dealing with significant injuries to key contributors like Jalen Hurts and DeVonta Smith alongside lingering hamstring trouble for Saquon Barkley, the squad had already experienced a downward spiral prior to medical absences.

Meanwhile, Washington leadership is enduring a spike in pressure stemming from severe clock management errors during an impasse against the Giants in the fifth week of play.
