Abhishek Sharma powered India to a series-clinching victory over New Zealand in the third T20I, hammering 113 runs off just 38 deliveries. His aggressive performance, which featured eleven sixes and nine fours, helped the visitors chase down a target of 198 in only 13.2 overs.
Following the match, teammate Ishan Kishan lightheartedly teased Sharma about his signature meditation-style celebration, joking that while the pose brings Sharma inner peace, it serves to rattle his opponents. The win gives India a 3-0 lead in the five-match series, keeping them on track for a potential whitewash under captain Shreyas Iyer.
Earlier in the contest, Daryl Mitchell led the Blackcaps with 89 runs, while Arshdeep Singh, Axar Patel, and Nitish Kumar Reddy each claimed a wicket. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi also contributed significantly to the chase, scoring 45 runs from 19 balls.
