New York Jets vs Tennessee Titans Game Thread

The New York Jets begin their 2026 regular season in Nashville against the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium, kicking off at 1:00 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, September 13.

Both franchises are looking to rebound from identical 3-14 campaigns a year ago, making this Week 1 clash a crucial early test. Adding extra intrigue to the matchup, the game serves as the coaching debut for former Jets head coach Robert Saleh with Tennessee.

Key roster storylines highlight the opener, as New York elevated kicker Jason Sanders to their active lineup, while quarterback Geno Smith approaches significant personal statistical thresholds this year. Meanwhile, Titans second-year quarterback Cam Ward is set to take the field alongside Saleh to challenge a revamped New York squad aiming to reverse its fortunes.
