Young Indian spinner Vaishnavi Sharma vaulted into the top one hundred of the ICC Women's ODI bowling ladder after claiming nine wickets during her squad's three-match sweep against Zimbabwe. The twenty-year-old left-arm bowler advanced fifty-three spots to ninety-fourth following a stellar series that featured a four-wicket haul and her maiden five-wicket performance in the format.
Her five-wicket effort in the final fixture also established her as the youngest Indian bowler to achieve the milestone in a decade. Teammate Pratika Rawal also advanced within the batting rankings, moving up to eighteenth after posting three consecutive scores of fifty or higher throughout the sweep.
Additional upward movement came from Sayali Satghare and Shafali Verma following their strong contributions in the series finale.
