New rankings! Surging Mike Malott boots Joaquin Buckley from welterweight Top 10 following UFC Edmonton violence

Mike Malott’s relentless momentum in the welterweight division earned him a spot in the UFC’s updated Meta Rankings, vaulting him from outside the top 10 to No. 8 after a dominant performance at UFC Edmonton.

The 170-pound contender secured his fifth consecutive victory with a knockout win over Joaquin Buckley, who dropped four spots to No. 12 following the loss—his third straight defeat.

Meanwhile, the women’s divisions saw movement as well, with Jasmine Jasudavicius climbing in the flyweight rankings after upsetting top-ranked Erin Blanchfield, while Chelsea Chandler advanced in the bantamweight division following a submission win over Melissa Croden on the preliminary card. The shakeup reflects a weekend of standout performances that reshaped the competitive landscape across multiple weight classes.
