Dutch cyclist Bodine Vollering will join EF Education-Oatly for the 2025 WorldTour season, marking a significant step in her career after two years with ProTeam VolkerWessels Cycling Team. Vollering praised the team’s long-term vision and collaborative culture, citing their dominance at the Classic Lorient Agglomération as a standout moment.
She highlighted their ability to control the race from start to finish, an approach that resonated with her ambitions. This season, Vollering secured a sixth-place finish at the Festival Elsy Jacobs and multiple top-10 results, including at the Tour de Feminin and Region Pays de la Loire Tour, demonstrating her growing competitiveness on the international stage.
The move to EF Education-Oatly aligns with her goal to fully dedicate herself to cycling, having previously balanced racing with studies to become a tax lawyer—she will complete her thesis before focusing entirely on her athletic career. General Manager Esra Tromp emphasized the team’s commitment to supporting Vollering’s development, calling her a rider with both natural talent and deep understanding of the sport.
Vollering’s decision was also inspired by her sister Demi Vollering’s success, including two Tour de France victories and a recent world championship title, reigniting her passion for competitive cycling after a high school break from racing.
