New Orleans Saints News: Could Chase Young have a career day on Sunday?

The New Orleans Saints face a difficult season opener on the road against the Detroit Lions, dealing with significant absences along their defensive front. Veteran pass rusher Cam Jordan has officially been ruled out alongside two other teammates, leaving defensive end Chase Young to anchor the pass rush.

Young will carry substantial responsibility as New Orleans attempts to pressure Detroit's offense and orchestrate an early-season road upset.

On the offensive side, second-year quarterback Tyler Shough steps into a pivotal role, supported by an explosive backfield that features newcomer Travis Etienne making his club debut. Meanwhile, star running back Alvin Kamara enters Sunday listed as questionable, though he managed to participate in full during Friday's practice session following a week where New Orleans managed several banged-up contributors.
