Ahead of an upcoming three-match One Day International series against the West Indies beginning September 27, Kohli reflected on his competitive drive, noting that hoisting the trophy remains the paramount objective for the squad during his final World Cup campaign.
The tournament itself will be co-hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia from October 4 to November 21, 2027. Kohli heads into these upcoming fixtures carrying solid current form from 2026, having tallied 384 runs across six innings at a strong average of 64.
